I was in Manchester a few days ago to deliver a one day Ajax workshop. The workshop went especially well thanks to the presence of Brothercake who graciously agreed to come along and share the findings of his recent research into Ajax and accessibility.
We took the Clearleft workshop to Manchester to try and break out of the London-centric web development scene. It isn’t really fair to expect Northern developers to travel all the way down South every time there’s an event. It was also nice for me because I had never been to Manchester before.
The next workshop I’m giving will be even further afield and I’m very, very excited about it. I’ll be working together with Carson Workshops to deliver a one day workshop in New York city on July 6th.
Registration is open now. The workshop costs $495 (given the current exchange rate, that works out considerably better than the UK workshops). If you live anywhere near New York City, I hope you’ll consider coming along.
See you there.
