			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, webkit has always been open-source, since it was based on open-source project (KHTML).</p>

<p>What changed is that it&#8217;s now more openly developed. Since there&#8217;s not too much of a difference between Webkit and KHTML, which is less dependant on MacOS X technologies, I doubt it will get used all that much on non-Mac platforms.</p>
